As a Job Coach, you will make a huge impact on someone’s life by assisting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities overcome challenges to thrive in community employment. You will assist individuals with learning job tasks, create customized strategies to meet their employer’s expectations, assist in communicating with their employer, and document about interactions and supports provided.

As a Supported Community Living Specialist, you will provide appropriate interventions to teach clients skills involving activities of daily living, community integration; functional, social, and skills to promote physical and emotional health.

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Associate Degree, or HS Diploma/GED & 6 months’ experience.
  • This position requires a valid drivers license, auto insurance, a good driving record, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks on the Department of Adult Abuse registry, the Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.
