As a Job Coach, you will make a huge impact on someone’s life by assisting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities overcome challenges to thrive in community employment. You will assist individuals with learning job tasks, create customized strategies to meet their employer’s expectations, assist in communicating with their employer, and document about interactions and supports provided.

  • Integrity. Doing what’s right. Trustworthy. Able to comply with all agency and regulatory standards. Maintain standards of confidentiality (HIPAA) and ethical practice.
  • Communication. Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal. Able to document work as trained.
  • Computer familiarity. Able to browse internet, use email and electronic health system (training provided).
  • Committed to inclusion and building relationships. Respecting others.

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Associate degree, or HS Diploma/GED & 6 months’ experience.
  • This position requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, a good driving record, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks on the Department of Adult Abuse registry, the Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.
